Faye's Latest Release
Faye's debut single is called 'Someone Like You' and is a collabaration between herself and Manchester born opera singer Russell Watson.
Faye and Russell first performed this track together at the CBBC Proms In The Park in the summer of 2001, whilst Faye was still a member of STEPS. After the split Faye joined Russell on a tour on board the luxury crusie ship liner the QE2 and they duetted on the track again. The response they recieved was so good that they decided they should release it.
They filmed the video for it Stockport, Greater Manchester, and Faye reckons it was one of the most fun video shoots she's ever done because she now considers Russell to be one of her closest pals.
She is joining Russell as a special guest on his UK arena tour throughout April and May and they will be performing at the Pre match concert in The FA Cup final at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Someone Like You is released in the UK on Monday 13th May 2002
